5 Ethnic Nigerian Foods; Fufu

Fufu is a Nigerian food used for eating soups of all kind it is prepared by

...Peeling cassava backs leaving the whiter inner behind
...Wash the whiter remains of the cassava with clean water
...Gather the peeled white cassava remains and put them inside a container or bucket with cover, pour in water till the ratio of water becomes bigger than that of the cassava
...After about four days go to the container, you will notice that the cassava has fermented
...Filter out the water from the cassava and take the cassava remains to the cassava mill for grinding
...After the grinding, pour the cassava bit by bit into a cassava sieve and stir properly with water in-other to remove its fibers
...Pour the cassava into a flour bag to let its excessive water flow away
...Light up your stove and place a pot on it
...Add little red oil to the pot and wait till it decolorizes to light yellow
...Add little water to the pot and pour in the cassava, stir it with a wooden spatula by moving the cassava in small quantities from the far end of the pot to your side of the pot
...cover the pot for some minutes to allow it to steam properly
...Open the pot and continually stir the cassava with the wooden spatula again from one end of the pot to the other till it forms a mass of Fufu
...You are done, your Fufu is ready
